Turning live events into marketing and sales content within hours

Company: PhotonDelta (in partnership with WeTakeFive)
Focus: Event content, real-time publishing, LinkedIn amplification
Constraint: Same-day turnaround, live input, limited capacity

Live content works like news: timing is what gives it value.

Publishing days later, you’re no longer boots-on-the-ground and part of the conversation, you’re just summarizing it. The audience might have already moved on, and whatever energy was in the room is fading. That’s what makes event content tricky. The value isn’t just in what you write, it’s in when you publish it.

Context

PhotonDelta needed same-day content coverage during their PIC Summit Europe event, with the goal of publishing and promoting insights while the event was still happening.

My approach

I worked closely with the We Take Five team in a lean setup. With the team down a person, we alternated between live note-taking and writing to keep things moving.

Across the two-day event, we delivered multiple blogs, including morning recaps and session roundups, all written, published, and promoted on LinkedIn within hours.

On day two, capacity was tighter due to filming and SME interviews running in parallel. Instead of stretching output, we focused on a single, comprehensive wrap-up blog that captured the key themes and insights, and published it the same day.

The result

Instead of content trailing behind the event, it became part of it. Insights were shared while they were still relevant, giving attendees something to revisit and giving those not present a way to follow along in real time.

Blogs were published during the event, not after, and supported real-time engagement on LinkedIn.
